“You lie to them about your journey”: UFC Legend Calls Out Dwayne Johnson For Lying Over Steroid Allegations
Actors are often accused of using steroids to enhance their looks which can also have a side effect on them. A former UFC middleweight has called out Dwayne Johnson for not being truthful with consuming steroids.
It is no surprise to know that many bodybuilders, athletes, and even actors take steroids to contribute to their physique. Actors often take it to attain a certain body shape that might be required for portraying a character in a film, and here we’re talking about The Rock who is claimed to be consuming synthetic substances according to Chael Sonnen.
Former UFC Legend Compares Dwayne Johnson With Liver King
Well, this isn’t the first time Dwayne Johnson has been targeted over consuming steroids which he always denied. After Joe Rogan commented on the Black Adam star lying about steroids stating that he should come clean, former UFC icon Chael Sonnen claimed that Johnson and his family have been lying for years that they are clean despite the evidence according to Sonnen.
Chael Sonnen who himself admitted to taking drugs during his MMA career in the past is seen in a video on his YouTube account (via Marca) accusing the WWE icon of not being truthful. He said:
“Steroids, which is something ‘The Rock’ has denied. His father denied, his uncles denied, the whole family’s denied…It’s one of those things…in all fairness, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if you weren’t out there telling people about nutrition and telling people about your diet, telling people about your workouts.”
Sonnen then compared Dwayne Johnson with Liver King stating that he’s misleading his followers by hiding the truth behind the steroid consumption. King is one of the most influential figures who admitted to taking roughly $11,000 of steroids a month. The former UFC legend then added:
“As soon as you start doing that and try to influence and motivate and bring people along the journey but you lie to them about the journey, right? I mean, he’s Liver King. You’re Liver King all over again. It’s the exact same thing”.
However, The Rock hasn’t issued any statement regarding Chael Sonnen’s claims or has responded to them in any way because he’s always denied using any synthetic substance to enhance his body and misled his fans.
When Joe Rogan Asked Dwayne Johnson To Come Clean
Joe Rogan did it before Chael Sonnen claimed that The Rock is on steroids according to the body he’s flaunting at the age of 51 years. In The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster mentioned the San Andreas star’s massive body which according to him is impossible to attain without consuming any substance. He said:
“There’s no way you can look like that, in your 40s. The Rock should come clean right now. He should make a video in response to the Liver King video. I need to talk to you because the Rock’s been lying. There’s not a f-king chance in hell he’s clean. Not a chance in hell.”
However, the Jungle Cruise star has only admitted that he tried them in his teenage and since then Johnson has been leading a steroid-free life.
