Allen’s comeback in the franchise’s fifth chapter has drawn a lot of criticism because of her age, but her admirers are always ready to defend her on Twitter. When it was said that 71-year-old Karen Allen, who starred in Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark, would be difficult to recognize in the forthcoming sequel starring Harrison Ford, a fan defended her by tweeting and addressing the criticizers as “You rancid cr*psacks” and adding that she is in fact perfectly recognizable.

Another of her admirers claimed that he would argue that Karen Allen is considerably more recognizable than the currently 80-year-old Harrison Ford. The majority of her followers just added that she looks fantastic, and has aged well.

Ageism is unacceptable today, and as one of Allen’s fans put it: “She looks the same, just a few decades older. This sentence, ‘she looks unrecognizable,is loathsome.”
