“Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues”: Kate Middleton Warned About Her Wish to have More Babies With Prince William
There are ongoing rumors that the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge are about to have a fourth child. There was a time once when the royal couple was warned against having more than two offspring. The royal pair made a visit to the sustainable child planning organization called ‘Having Kids’ in Poland in 2017. There the couple was reportedly warned against having a larger family. They were urged to not have a third child on the grounds of sustainability.
A contemporary British poet Anne Green Carter Dillard also wrote an open letter addressing the royal couple’s plan to have a third child as an unsustainable idea. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton obviously did not take heed of the advice. Only a few weeks later they announced they were expecting their third child.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Got Warned Against Conceiving of Third Child
In 2017, a year before the birth of Prince Louis of Wales, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge went on a tour of Poland and Germany. It is believed that at the time Kate Middleton had been wishing to have a third kid after Princess Charlotte. However, in Warsaw, while visiting a children’s organization called ‘Having Kids’, the royal couple was warned against having another kid reportedly. The organization was for the promotion of a sustainable family planning model. And according to their principle, larger families are unsustainable and therefore should be avoided.
Additionally, a contemporary British Poet Anne Gree Carter Dillard wrote an open letter on the subject. She wrote, “the example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential.” And addressed directly to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, by writing,
“Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity. Large families are not sustainable.”
Dillard also warned that although it was definite that the two royal kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte would have wonderful lives. This could not be said of other future children. But even after the warning and advice of sustainable family planning, the royal pair did not pay heed. And only a few days later they announced they were expecting their third child. Prince Louis the third child was born in April 2018 and is now 4 years old.
Are the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge Expecting their Fourth kid?
Just like Kate Middleton convinced Prince William to have a third child, once again it has been reported that she is convincing her husband to have a fourth one.
Recently US Weekly reported that the royal family with three children is rumored to be adding a fourth one. The reports revealed saying, “Kate has been talking about wanting another baby for a while now,”
It further added that Middleton had to have been trying her best to convince Prince William saying,
“She has always wanted four children, and while William was originally happy with three, she has managed to twist his arm,”
Currently, the royal pair has three kids of their own, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7), and Prince Louis (4). It seems soon the three will have another sibling among them.
