“You’re only like, 1 inch taller than me”: Mark Wahlberg Activated Tom Holland’s Napoleon Complex
Uncharted, starring Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland, performed well at the box office not just because of its excellent plot but also due to its stellar star cast. There was excitement to see Holland and the two-time Oscar winner together. The subject of Holland’s height came up once more when they were on the big screen.
The 26-year-old actor’s height is always compared with his other fellow actors. Holland has also revealed that he was insecure about his height at one point after entering movies.

For Mark Wahlberg, his co-star in the movie Uncharted was a great co-star. Wahlberg described Tom Holland as sweet and very focused. But even in the movie, the actor took a jibe at Holland’s height. There is a scene between Holland and the 51 years old where Wahlberg says, “We better get small. Or in your case, smaller.”
Responding to this, Holland’s character Nathan Drake says, “You’re only, like, one inch taller than me.” Right after hearing Holland respond to him, Wahlberg says, “I think it’s a little bit more than that, kid.” This scene was loved by Wahlberg and Holland fans. Their dynamic duo in the movie was applauded and loved by the critics and the viewers.
While talking about his height on social media, before the release of the movie Uncharted in 2022. In the caption with the movie trailer, Holland wrote, “For the record, @markwahlberg is [5-foot-9] to my [5-foot-8].”
Tom Holland called Mark Wahlberg massive after meeting him
Wahlberg and his amazing physique are still an inspiration for many people. Even after entering his 50s, the Oscar-award-winning actor makes sure to keep his body in shape. Holland recalled his first meeting with Wahlberg and explained how he realized he had to work more on his physique. The Cherry actor said,
“When we went to set for the first time, I saw Mark Wahlberg, and Mark is massive. He is a unit.”
He further added,
“We went home for five months; all I did was eat and train, eat and train, eat and train. To put a bit of timber on, to make me look not like a child next to Mark.”

Wahlberg explained he thinks of Holland as his little annoying brother he never had. He also appreciated how focused and hardworking the 26-year-old actor was at this young age. While talking about Holland, The Fighter actor said,
“Playing opposite Tom was a lot of fun because he’s like an annoying little brother and I never had a little brother, so it was nice. I think the movie’s that much better because of the chemistry between the two of us.”
According to Wahlberg Holland knows how to balance things. He also explained how great he was at doing the stunt scenes in the movie with him.
