The above quotes were from last year’s 2 Bears,1 Cave podcast in which the Kill Bill director discussed the death of movie-star culture, criticizing that the actors aren’t real stars but the characters are. And now nearly a year later Chris Evans has agreed to the controversial comments of the Tarantino.
“Quentin Tarantino said that recently and I was like, you know, he’s right. The character is the star. You’re there, but you don’t feel a big weight.”
The actor told GQ in an interview how he agrees with the director. Chris Evans agreed that when an actor is involved in a movie, they don’t have to feel the pressure of being the sole focus of the movie because the only focus is on the character being played.
