“That was the f**k you to me”: Drake Went Behind Halle Berry’s Back to Betray Her, X-Men Star Slams Rapper for Despicable Act
Pop culture icons are never out of style similarly, pop sensation Drake never fails to make headlines and this time it revolves around Halle Berry and the One Dance rapper. The latest single Slime You Out from Drake’s upcoming album, For All The Dogs is finally out and made its way to creating a buzz in the industry.
Halle Berry has explained her discontent with Drake for using her picture in his recent single featuring SZA. The X-Men star posted on her social media account expressing her disappointment with Drake for using her picture drenched in slime in his recent single.
Drake Betrayed Halle Berry By Using Her Photo
The Moonfall actress Halle Berry has recently made headlines by expressing her frustration over Drake for using her picture drenched in slime to promote his new single. The God’s Plan rapper posted on his social media an editorial photo of Berry getting green slime dumped on her at Nickelodeon’s 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards on his Instagram to promote Slime You Out which marks his first collaboration with SZA. The rapper even labeled it with parental advisory – explicit content warning on Halle Berry’s photo. Here’s the Instagram post:

And soon after that Berry shared a post on her Instagram account that read “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy…even if you’re a woman!” The actress also revealed that Drake did ask her permission but she denied and despite the denial Drake did not hesitate to use Halle Berry’s photo. According to Pop Base Berry commented:
“He asked me and i said NO… Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the f*uck you to me. Not cool You get it?”
Above was the response that Bery gave to one of the Instagram users’ comments when they took Drake’s side and stated that the picture is owned by Getty Images and the rapper must have presumably taken their permission. The Catwoman star’s fans are firmly in her corner as they bolstered Berry on her Instagram post.
Halle Berry To Pay Her Ex-husband $8,000 a Month
After long eight years of battling in court, Halle Berry and her third husband Oliver Martinez finally decided to conclude it. In 2015 the Oscar-winner and the Dark Tide star decided to divorce after two years of their marriage, but due to custody disputes, things couldn’t go well with their legal battle, and as a result, proceedings were held up. According to Page Six, Berry must pay her ex-husband $8,000 a month in child support for their 9-year-old son, Maceo. According to the documents the Monster’s Ball star has to pay for all the school necessities of her son as the payments will directly go to the school and not her ex-husband.
Halle Berry has a daughter Nahla, whom she shares with her ex-husband Gabriel Aubry. Berry and Martinez wed in 2013 after crossing paths on the sets of the Dark Tide movie and called it quits in 2015. Berry won an Oscar under the category of Best Actress for the 2001 movie Monster’s Ball. The actress received positive reviews for playing a challenging role and highlighting poverty dilemmas in the movie.
