Zendaya Calls Timothee Chalamet’s Dune 2 a “Beautiful Love Story”
Zendaya is already a star and the humongous fan following of the Euphoria star speaks volumes about her stardom. The actor has gone on to achieve great success in the entertainment industry at the young age of 26. She has been associated with reputed projects like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man No-Way Home, Dune series, The Greatest Showman, and the Netflix romantic-drama Malcolm and Marie.
Zendaya was widely appreciated for her role in the groundbreaking drama Euphoria. The HBO series dealt with sensitive issues like substance abuse, violence, self-discovery, and s*x among college-going kids. The actor is currently dating her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland. She would be seen along with Timothee Chalamet in the upcoming sequel of Dune.
Zendaya Has A Special Mention For Timothee Chalamet’s Dune 2
The Barcelona-based Warner Bros’ CineEurope show was a dazzling night with stars lined up to talk and discuss their upcoming interesting projects. When the Dune star Zendaya graced the stage to present the trailer for her upcoming project Challengers. She said-
“It’s fun, sexy and modern” with “an intense back-and-forth” that includes “a messy, complicated love triangle with a killer score.”
The actor later returned with her Dune: Part Two co-star Timothee Chalamet. The Call Me By Your Name actor spoke about his character and said-
His character “is trying to redeem the House of Atreides” in the Legendary sequel directed by Denis Villeneuve. “In Part One, he was a student. In Part Two, he’s thrown into the Fremen culture and the terrors of the desert”
Zendaya even mentioned that the equation between her Chani and her co-star Timothee Chalamet’s Paul,-
“It’s a beautiful love story; there’s a war going on while they are just trying to grow up. I got to do fight scenes.”
The A-listers who are Joining the sequel of Dune are – Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Lea Seydoux, and Christopher Walken. Timothee Chalamet was excited about the new team of actors onboard and said- “What a crazy new group. Everyone brought their flavor and came in fully on fire.” The sequel of Dune is supposed to release in November 2023.
Craig Mazin Has a Writing Credit on Zendaya’s Dune 2 Script
Craig Mazin of Chernobyl fame, recently appeared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, which was recorded before the writer’s strike began. The American screenwriter spoke about making The Last of Us as well as his other future projects. When Josh Horowitz mentioned his work in the upcoming superhero films, the said-
“I’m out of the movie business, basically, I’ll work with certain directors when they call because I love them and because they’re so brilliant, so if, like, Denis Villeneuve calls, then absolutely. I’m there for, three-four weeks, a month, to work on what you’re working on.”
The famous screenwriter has been associated with movies like- The Hangover Part II and Part III, Scary Movie 3, and Scary Movie 4. While talking about his contribution to the upcoming movie Dune 2, Craig Mazin simply confirmed,
“I am a participating writer in Dune: Part Two. I came in and did a little bit of work. Previously, one couldn’t even reveal such details, and the additional writing work used to go uncredited, but thanks to a shift in Writers Guild of America policy last year, now there is such a thing called an Additional Literary Material credit, which Mazin has on the upcoming feature. As for working on any other projects, the screenwriter said, Mostly I wanna make my own things because I wanna be in charge of my own things and that’s what HBO allows me to do.”
