Completely enchanted and mesmerized by Euphoria, the one true fan, Britney Spears showered the show and its cast with praises, during the 2022 mental health awareness week. It’s been a year since we watched the last episode of the HBO series Euphoria, the 8.4-rated teenage drama, adapted from the Israeli show that goes by the same name. The show received great appreciation not just from Spears, but worldwide due to its sheer authenticity blended with empathy and visual exhilaration.

Glued to the screen, Britney Spears recalled being a fan of Zendaya who played the role of the pivotal character Rue, in Euphoria. Expressing her feelings from a personal standpoint, the singer appreciated the show and its entire cast, for helping her overcome anxiety.

Britney Spears’ Fan Moment For Euphoria

Britney Spears considering herself an erratic personality, expressed her honest feelings towards Euphoria, the HBO series, launched in 2019. Engaged in the drama and heartbreak, Spears soon became a fan of the show led by Zendaya. Initially unaware of how the show might impact her life, the singer was rather impressed by it as she navigated through the episodes.

Expressing her appreciation for the show, Spears took to social media on Mental Health Awareness Week and addressed the HBO series. Sharing a video clip from the show, on her Instagram page, Britney Spears wrote in the caption how Euphoria helped her overcome anxiety. “For MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK a little while ago I watched this insane amazing show @euphoria…Good God it’s too good !!!!” Spears wrote in the caption.

Further adding, “I’m a little behind anyways !!!! Watching this and being entertained by these crazy plots I suddenly felt all my anxiety go away…the show was like meditation !!!!” the singer let out her fan girl. “It put a HUGE grin on my face…and if you want to be zen …there’s sound therapy … stillness… yoga…monk retreats…but last but definitely not least, train your thoughts to think things that make you SMILE” Britney Spears shared.

Navigating through drama, heartbreaking, friendship, love, and drug abuse, the HBO series Euphoria deals with the pivotal character Rue and her high school friends. Giving its viewers a tough time with the brutal reality of teenage life in America, the show creates a balance between authenticity and visual escapism. With ecstatic visualization and graphic characters, Euphoria repeatedly breaks the fourth wall.

Casting Zendaya as Rue, the drug addict with little to no desire of being clean, the series revolves around her. Introducing her friends, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Alexa Demie as Maddy, and others, the show inches forward. Releasing its pilot episode in 2019, the show has two seasons as of now. With the producers and the cast giving a thumbs up and confirming Euphoria season 3, fans are overly excited.
