The journey of mutants in the superhero team has been interesting so far, to say the least. From fighting amongst themselves for power to dealing with the hatred and negativity of the masses, they have only grown stronger at each turn.

Now, to truly understand their trajectory in the finale, Tolerance is Extinction, Beau DeMayo suggests fans read the comic titled Uncanny X-Men #304. The finale of the series will unfold in three parts, further adding to the anticipation. DeMayo shared on X that fans should read the comic before diving into the finale episode to better understand what’s going to happen.

Earlier, the ex-showrunner posted on X that fans should go back and watch a few episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series before streaming the first part of the finale episode.

Considering how immensely successful X-Men ‘97 has been, it would make sense for Marvel to milk the incredible show for more seasons and make the fans keep coming back for more. That is truly the case since Brad Winderbaum recently confirmed in an interview with ComicBook.com that seasons 2 and 3 are both greenlit by Marvel.

The second season has already begun and is under production while the third season will be developed soon. It’s great news for fans to see Marvel embracing what the fandom wants. Winderbaum further stated that the upcoming seasons will also stay true to the source material to delight fans in more ways than one.
