The troubles in the rappers’ paradise do not seem to be ending anytime soon as Kendrick Lamar and Drake take direct hits at each other’s personal lives. What started as a simple feud over Lamar’s track Like That has now become a full-blown battle as the artists continue to throw punches through each new song and fans do not seem to be catching a break either.

Shortly after Lamar released 6:16 in LA, Drake hit right back with Family Matters. The former obviously had no plans to sit back and take it, so it wasn’t long until he released Meet the Grahams. The latter of these seemingly exposed that the God’s Plan singer has a daughter whom he has not acknowledged publicly.

It all began with Kendrick Lamar taking a dig at Aubrey Drake Graham, professionally known as Drake, and J. Cole, on the song Like That as a response to their words on the track First Person Shooter. Since then, from Rick Ross and Metro Boomin to the Weeknd and Future, nearly every rapper in the industry has gotten embroiled in the feud.

Lamar’s most recent track meet the grahams targets Graham’s father Dennis Graham, mother Sandra Graham, and son Adonis. Not to mention, an alleged daughter, whom Lamar said, has not been publicly acknowledged.

The first verse of the song addresses the son as Lamar begins:

“Dear Adonis, I’m sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest // It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive”

The second verse is addressed to the OVO Sound record label co-founder’s mother and father. The third verse comes with a surprise as it is addressed to the Slime You Out singer’s alleged 11-year-old daughter. Lamar addressed the “baby girl” singing:

“Or at your eleventh birthday, singin’ poems with you // Instead, he be in Turks, payin’ for sex and poppin’ Percs”

Later in the verse, he also sings:

“His father prolly didn’t claim him neither // History do repeats itself, sometimes it don’t need a reason”

In response to this song, Drake posted an Instagram story in which he jokingly asked someone to find his secret daughter and send her to him. Below a picture of himself, he wrote:

“nahhhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me”

Whether or not any of Lamar’s claims about Graham’s secret daughter are true or not is unclear. That being said, this feud does not appear to be reaching an end any time soon.

Graham’s Family Matters is a seven-minute track that begins with him pointing out to Lamar that since he brought up his son, now he has to deal with the father. Among the other shots that he took at Lamar, he also brought up the 36 year-old’s relationship with his fiancee, Whitney Alford.

To escalate things further, they have also begun bringing up the kids of their diss tracks. Lamar took the first step toward this with last week’s Euphoria. In response to Family Matters, Graham suggested that one of his opponent’s two kids (a son and a daughter) has been fathered by Lamar’s longtime creative partner Dave Free.

As expected, Lamar hit right back at Graham with the song Meet the Grahams, in which he addressed every single member of his family. To make things worse, he even suggested that Graham has a daughter he has not acknowledged.

Meet the Grahams and Family Matters are available for streaming on Spotify.
