According to some recent rumors, Joe’s Pizza, the place where Peter Parker used to work in Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man movies, will appear in the film.

Netizens are now speculating that Mr. Aziz, the owner of the pizza shop played by Aasif Mandvi, might actually make an appearance. It will be hilarious for sure, if Marvel can pull this off. So this could just be a clever Easter egg rather than a full-on cameo.

Will Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man Appear in Deadpool & Wolverine?
It’s not completely impossible to see Maguire back in action in a cameo role. After all, he already teamed up with other Spider-Men in No Way Home, so the door’s kind of open for more multiverse adventures.
It is now evident that the movie will play with multiple universes. There are set photos that show the 20th Century Fox Studios logo, which is pretty meta. And with characters from previous X-Men movies confirmed to return, it seems like the makers are not afraid to dig into Marvel’s past.
Moreover, Maguire himself confirmed earlier in his interview with Marvel that he is open to returning if he finds his role appealing and meaningful enough.
I love these films and I love all of the different series. If these guys called me and said, ‘Would you show up tonight to hang out and goof around?’ or ‘Would you show up to do this movie or read a scene or do a Spider-Man thing?’ it would be a ‘Yes!’ Because why wouldn’t I want to do that?
Although it would be great to see Maguire’s Spidey, it might not happen in this movie. A lot of fans are thinking that if he does show up again, it might be in a bigger event movie like Avengers: Secret Wars. That’s the kind of film where the makers could really go all out with bringing together heroes from different universes.
