Amid the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, the former’s legal team has dropped behind-the-scene footage of It Ends With Us to counter the latter’s claims about s*xual misconduct on-set.
Lively had filed a lawsuit against the actor and director of the film, and since then it has been a chaotic situation. After suing The New York Times for reporting her side of the case for $250 million, Baldoni has sued the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds for $400 million.
Among all of the filed allegations against Baldoni, in the document, one of them stated that during the slow dance sequence, the actor’s character Ryle Kincaid got too close to Lively’s Lily Bloom, leaving her uncomfortable.
As per the suit, he even improvised the scene and “leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear and down her neck as he said, ‘It smells so good.’” However, in the now-released video clip of the BTS, people can see both of them enjoying the process in their own way. Blake Lively addressed Justin Baldoni’s huge nose in a sarcastic way
Amid the legal dispute, many old videos of Blake Lively have resurfaced showing her bullying nature. Now, after Baldoni’s legal team dropped the behind-the-scenes of the slow dance sequence in question, it refutes the actress’s claims about him misbehaving with her. The clip can be up for interpretation as the Gossip Girl star can also be seen saying some things that might be considered as bully.
As obtained by the Daily Mail, the video clip that has been shared by Justin Baldoni’s side featured a title card that read, “Both actors are clearly behaving well within the scope of the scene and with mutual respect and professionalism,” and then the video starts.
In one of the shots, while they were slow dancing and getting close to one another, Lively can be heard saying, “I feel so nosey. I mean it’s like just noses.” To this, when Baldoni responded that he has a big nose, the actress went on,
Yes, I was hoping that we could address this. It’s not too late. Just gotta shut down. Gotta call an insurance month, and deal with that, and then… Just kidding.
Well, it seemed like more of her asking him to get a nose job sarcastically.
Blake Lively’s legal team fired back at the video clip
After the video clip went viral all over the internet, people started to lash out at the actress. However, soon Lively’s legal team came to the rescue. In a statement, they claimed that anyone could see her hesitating when Baldoni leaned towards her trying to kiss or caress her. The team stated,
Any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Ms. Lively’s discomfort. They will recognize her attempts at levity to try to deflect the unwanted touching. No woman should have to take defensive measures to avoid being touched by their employer without their consent.
The footage does show that both of the actors disagreed on how to portray the scene. While Baldoni wanted to show a bit of intimacy, Lively wanted to keep talking and dancing. At one point, when the actor/director of It Ends With Us leaned to kiss her, the actress can be heard saying, “I think we should be talking. I think it’s more romantic if we’re like dancing and talking.”

In another shot of the same sequence, when Justin Baldoni brushed his face a little intimately with Lively’s, the actor/director joked by saying, “Am I getting beard on you today?” To this, the actress laughed and said, “I’m probably getting spray tan on you.”
At this point, Baldoni commented, “It smells good” and The Age of Adaline actress rebuked by sharing, “Well, it’s not that. It’s my body makeup.” However, a little awkwardness between the two actors can be spotted all along the clip. This whole leaked footage situation has been called out by Lively’s team. According to them, it’s a “stunt” and “an unethical attempt to manipulate the public.”
