Disney’s trend of reimagining animated classics in live-action has sparked a wave of adaptations over the years. But now it’s DreamWorks’ turn to come out with the highly anticipated How To Train Your Dragon live-action movie.

While details about the movie remain unconfirmed, the expectation is that the live-action adaptation will draw inspiration from the first film’s narrative which was released back in 2010. The plot revolves around Hiccup, the Viking chieftain’s son, forming an unlikely friendship with Toothless, a dragon, challenging the Viking tradition of holding animosity towards dragons. While the movie has recently started to film and is expected to release on June 13, 2025, 4 stars have already been confirmed.
