5 Possibilities for Kate Bishop’s Future In MCU
Kate Bishop is finally in the MCU and her entrance was nothing less than awesome. She literally got to come face to face with Yelena Belova and the almighty Kingpin! Apart from this, she got to collaborate with her favourite idol Clint Barton for her first adventure. The first season of Hawkeye was exciting and left many questions answered. This leaves us thinking, what’s next for Kate Bishop? Well, today, we will talk about some possibilities for Kate Bishop’s future in the MCU. Check it out!
1. Hawkeye Season 2
The easiest continuation for her MCU future is the second season of Hawkeye Right now, it is not confirmed whether the series is getting a second season or not, but if it does, then Kate would fit perfectly in it. Now that her mother is not around to stop her from her heroic exploits, we can see a more independent yet reckless side of our new hero. The finale of the show saw Barton giving his moniker to Kate and introducing her to his family. Let’s see what the second season of the show can hold, if there’s any.
2. The Young Avengers
Considering how the MCU is getting inspired by the comic books, it would be great to see Kate leading the Young Avengers. As we know, the MCU is already preparing for the team and they’re slowly introducing the members. So far, we have seen Bishop, Wiccan, Speed, etc. Yes, it’s pretty much possible that Kate might even lead the team and it would be great to see a non-superhero lead a team of gifted individuals. It would make sense because Bishop has already proven that she doesn’t hesitate in taking a risk and is surely intelligent enough to find a way to make things work.
3. Teaming Up With Spider-Man
Might sound a little far-fetched, but it’s not impossible. Now that No Way Home has established that nobody knows who Spider-Man is, he is back fighting street-level crime. This can indeed put Spider-Man in Bishop’s way and they can surely team up for an adventure which won’t be a bad thing to do. Do you think it is possible that we might see Bishop and Spider-Man taking on Kingpin and tearing his empire apart? Interesting!
4. Captain America 4
At some point, Kate Bishop is destined to become a part of the Avengers and that would make for a perfect replacement for Clint. Well, this can be achieved via Captain America 4. We know that Sam Wilson is now the new Captain America after the events in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Soon after, his solo movie was announced. While fans theorised that they will get to the White Wolf in action, it is possible that Kate Bishop might make a cameo. Sam can go on to carry out a second Avengers initiative which can bring together Bishop and some other heroes in a post-credit scene.
5. A Solo Movie
Last but not the least, a solo movie is something that would set Kate Bishop on. whole new level. She is a very famous MCU character and shares the same popularity with comic book fans. Moreover, her various storylines will allow the filmmakers to take up an interesting storyline.
