Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity started airing on July 25, 2026, marking the start of the fourth and final part of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime. This part is going to finally finish the story that Tite Kubo started in the Bleach manga, all the way back in 2001, taking Ichigo Kurosaki and Aizen Sousuke into their final battle against Yhwach.
Let’s take a look at how many episodes this final season is going to have, along with the complete release schedule of each and every single episode and the streaming information. Let’s dive in.

How Many Episodes Does Bleach: TYBW – The Calamity Have?
Bleach: TYBW – The Calamity is going to have a total of 10 episodes, fully adapting the final stretch of the story. The confirmation comes straight from the anime’s official Blu-ray listing, which confirms that the final set of discs covers episodes 41 through 50.
This season is going to have a shorter run compared to the others before it. Both Part 1 and Part 2 (The Separation) had 13 episodes each, and Part 3 (The Conflict) had a total of 14 episodes. Even then, it makes sense, since this part only needs to cover a little more. We can be glad that, unlike many other major shonen anime, Pierrot Films didn’t decide to turn the ending into a movie.

What to Expect From Bleach: TYBW – The Calamity

The Calamity is going to cover the last part of Tite Kubo’s manga, which means the final showdown between Ichigo and Yhwach, the strongest villain in the anime, is finally on the way. However, don’t you worry, as that’s not all that we can expect from this finale. There is a lot going on on the side as well. Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihoin take on Askin Nakk Le Vaar, while Kenpachi Zaraki, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and Byakuya Kuchiki team up against Gerard Valkyrie.
This part is also expected to give Ichigo a brand new form, something fans have been looking forward to for a long time now, considering the manga ended in 2016. Since the manga’s ending felt rushed to a lot of readers, this final cour is also expected to add some extra anime-only scenes to help everything land better.
Where to Watch Bleach: TYBW – The Calamity Online

Unfortunately, unlike many other major shonen anime, Crunchyroll does not carry any part of Thousand-Year Blood War, so that platform isn’t an option for this one. Bleach: TYBW – The Calamity is streaming weekly on Hulu in the US, as confirmed on VIZ’s official blog. It’s available with English and Spanish subtitles. Outside the US, the show is streaming on Disney+ in select international markets.
Right now, Hulu offers two plans: an ad-supported plan for $11.99/month and an ad-free plan for $18.99/month. Since Hulu is now bundled with Disney+, subscribers on that combined plan can also catch new episodes through it.
