Samuel L. Jackson has been associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the 2008 release of Iron Man. Recently, during an interview with the media outlet ET, Ash Crossan asked him about which Marvel franchise he wanted to be a part of. The Pulp Fiction actor replied-

“I don’t know, it’s kind of up and down for me in an interesting sort of way,” Jackson said of his character, Nick Fury, who first came onto the scene 15 years ago in 2008’s Iron Man.

“Because, if I had it my way, I would’ve been in every Marvel movie ’cause I mean he is Nick Fury, he knows everything that’s going on. I’m still trying to figure out why I’ve never been to Wakanda.”

He has been playing Nick Fury for the past 15 years but still hates the character. Recently, during his appearance on Good Morning America (GMA), he was asked what is the one thing he hates about Nick Fury, the actor replied-

“After the blip that you know all the people who watch Marvel Thanos did that he kind of changed the world and changed a lot of things and Nick’s been missing. You find out in Spider-Man what is that far from home, uh, that Nick’s been, uh, not there and been replaced by his scroll friend. At the end of that series and you find out he’s been up on his spaceship and not on Earth, so he’s come back now and that’s what Secret Invasions, you know, basically based on.”

Nick Fury does not have any superpowers, but he is the master of the power of persuasion. Secret Invasion also stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Charlayne Woodard, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Katie Finneran and, Don Cheadle. Secret Invasion would be streamed on June 21st on Disney+.
