Get ready for an exciting show, movie buffs, and gearheads! A new F1 film is all set to rev your engines (metaphorically, of course) with an Oscar-winning star and a potential release date.

Talking about the cast: first up, we have the legendary Babylon actor Brad Pitt (a veteran racer, Sonny Hayes). Joining the pit crew is Damson Idris (Sonny’s rookie teammate, Joshua Pierce), starring in fan favorites Outside the Wire (2021), Astral (2018), and The Commuter (2018). We also have Lewis Hamilton (the seven-time F1 world champion) uniting the board.

But hold on a sec, there’s more!  Rounding out the dream team is Oscar-winning star Javier Bardem. Remember the Spanish painter in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), a deteriorating family man in Biutiful (2010), James Bond’s arch-enemy in Skyfall (2012), and most recently, character Stilgar in Dune (2021)? Yep, get ready for a whole new side of Bardem—and with an F1 backdrop, it’s bound to be epic.

With a budget of more than $300 million, the film aims to capture the breathtaking sight of F1 races (per IMDB) Twenty drivers personally appeared on set when filming was done during real Grand Prix races all across the world. The movie, which is being branded as “a landmark for the sport and cinema,” will be released under the umbrella of Apple Original Films but does not have an official name yet.

Here’s the kicker, folks: the new F1 film’s US release date… drumroll please… Mark your calendars for June 27, 2025, to guarantee a pit stop you won’t wanna miss! We know that’s a long wait, but hey! Good things come to those who wait (and stay tuned!).

Javier Bardem’s Emotional Toll: When Vulnerability Leaves You Raw

Sometimes, actors have to put themselves through extreme emotional ordeals. And, Javier Bardem finds it intolerable to watch a film again that leaves him feeling like a shaky pile of broken emotions. It’s not like he has a problem making people cry, since some of his career-best performances have occurred when he’s shown vulnerability and bareness.

Among his most potent performances are the biography Before Night Falls by Reinaldo Arenas, the eerie thriller Biutiful by Alejandro González Iñárritu, and The Sea Inside by Alejandro Amenábar, which all play to the rawest nerves. But Bardem is just as skilled at being frightful, as seen by his Academy Award-winning portrayal in the iconic No Country for Old Men or his s*xy portrayal of one of the greatest contemporary James Bond villains in Daniel Craig’s Skyfall.

Bardem is no stranger to working in the company of Hollywood’s most-influential. He first played Johnny Depp’s ghostly adversary in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel Dead Men Tell No Tales, and then provided his commanding presence to the studio’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid as King Triton. With all of these spectacular performances, we’re certain his portrayal in this F1 film will make fans go GAGA!
