“A problem for part two”: Mission Impossible 7 Director Reveals Major Problem for Upcoming Tom Cruise Sequel
Tom Cruise’s famous film franchise Mission: Impossible had its latest installment out this year. The film was one of the most anticipated movies of the year and after Top Gun: Maverick’s exceptional performance at the worldwide box office, the same has been expected for Mission Impossible 7 which got released recently.
This film is the first of the two-part installment. The second part of the movie is reported to come out next year and is already in production.
However recently it has come to light that the director Christopher McQuarrie is not able to decide on a perfect ending to wrap up the 7th installment for the film. All this comes amid the Writer’s Strike that has brought a pause to the film and tv industry for the time being.
Director Christopher McQuarrie Reveals The Ending for Mission: Impossible 7 Part Two is Still Undecided
Although the production of Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is underway, it seems that the ending for the story is yet to be complete. Recently it came to light that the director Christopher McQuarrie is still unsure about how the whole installment will come to an end in the second part which is supposed to be out next year. But it seems that the final script for the ending to the plot is yet to be decided.
Talking with Collider recently McQuarrie opened up about the ongoing Writer’s SAG-AFTRA strike and how everything including the threat of AI could be an issue for his upcoming film. The director admitted this by saying, that it was all going to be “a problem for part two”.
Furthermore, he also added that even if he could tell the ending presently, he was not sure if it would be the same when the actual time came. So for now people can only wait and look forward to what unfolds for Mission: Impossible 7’s next second part.
A Brief Look At Mission Impossible 7
The latest installment of the action spy film series Mission Impossible starring Tom Cruise is out at the moment. It is the first part of the 7th installment of the movie and hence titled Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part One. The plot as always revolves around Ethan Hunt and his mission with the MIA team.
But this time the world is threatened with a very dangerous AI weapon called the Entity which if in the wrong hands has the potential to cause heavy damage to humanity as a whole.
