The saga of Shakira and her ex-husband Gerard Pique doesn’t seem to take a rest. The duo has been contributing a lot to the tabloid ever since they legally separated. The never-ending drama of the Waka Waka singer and Gerard Pique attracts a lot of media attention. They were married for more than a decade and even share two kids. They separated in June 2022.

The ex-Barcelona player was caught cheating on his 46-year-old ex-wife Shakira. The hatred between the ex-couple is not hidden anymore. When on one side where Shakira keeps on coming up with diss tracks defaming her ex-husband, while on the other side, Gerard Pique has no regrets about cheating on Shakira. Recently the Spanish soccer player commented on one of the diss tracks by his ex-wife.

Gerard Pique Takes A Dig At Shakira’s Diss Song BZRP Music Session #53

Shakira along with the Argentine producer Bizarrap released one of her most controversial tracks BZRP Music Sessions #53 in the January of 2023. The song went on to create a record for the most viewed Latin track on Youtube within 24 hours. The song mentions a few jabs that indirectly point to Gerard Pique and this is one of the reasons the song became viral instantly. 

Gerard Pique’s appearance on the latest episode of Spanish live streamer and Youtuber Ibai Llanos became a talking point in tinsel town. The 36-year-old soccer player took a dig at his ex-wife’s diss track that is based on him. He indirectly warned Shakira and went on to say, 

“That if someday a Bizarrap session is done with me it would not be a shot, it would be something really big, we are talking about a bottle of 5 liters or 10 liters of powerful drink, you understand, a shot seems little to me.”

Ibai Llanos added on a lighter note,

“A Bizarrap session with you would be regrettable.”

The livid response of Gerard Pique indicated that he is looking forward to giving a befitting reply to his former wife in her style. While suggesting an idea for a brand new diss track’s name for the ex-Barcelona player, Ibai Llanos added, 

“Beware of a song that I think is going to play at the Metropolitano: ‘It was not your fault, nor was it my fault …’,” 

This is not the first time the Whenever, Wherever singer has come up with a diss track mentioning the relationship dynamics she shared with Gerard Pique. Shakira’s Chartbusters like Te Felecito, Monotonia, and Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 which talk about her ex-husband in a defamatory way, have went on to break records and as well as earned millions. 

Gerard Pique Blasts His Ex-Wife Shakira’s Fans

The Spanish athlete Gerard Pique was slammed by critics, trolls, and as well as his ex-wife Shakira’s fans for cheating on her with model Clara Chia Marti. During an interview with Gerard Romero, Gerard Pique broke his silence on how he is dealing with the criticism and online hatred after his divorce from Shakira. He confessed with a nonchalant attitude,

“In the beginning, it was bad and it reached a point where if I had let things get to me, I would have thrown myself off a cliff.”

The retired soccer player added-

“95 percent” of people’s issues arise when they “tend to care about things that aren’t that important.” In his opinion, the only things worth worrying about are “serious health issues, family and relationships. For example, my ex is Latin American … you can’t imagine [the comments] I’ve gotten on social media from her fans. Millions of barbarities!”

According to the retired Barcelona defender he never pays attention to the trolls and critics on social media and credits his nonchalance behind his unaffected mental health. During his interview with the Spanish print media house El Pais, Gerard Pique mentioned, 

“But I don’t care about any of it. Honestly, not at all because I don’t know them. These people have no lives and why should I care? I’ll never meet them, they’re robots, you know? They want you to worry and when you do, they would have won. You have to show them that you don’t care because it gets them angrier.”

While talking about whether he regrets cheating on his ex-wife Shakira or not, He responded,

“I keep doing what I want. The day I die, I will look back and hope I have always done what I wanted. I want to be faithful to myself.

Gerard Pique is one of the best players the land of Spain could ever produce, but due to the infidelity scandal with his super popular ex-wife Shakira not only affected his career but also his public image too.
