Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter, a much-anticipated Marvel movie by Sony, is the latest casualty of the ongoing writers and the strikes of SAG-AFTRA. The release date of this movie has got delayed by a year. It seems as though MCU is trying to save the movie from bombing at the box office.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter is Delayed

It follows Sergei Kravinoff’s adventures, as the Russian aristocrat obsessed with hunting big games. The movie’s red band trailer hints at the dark and quite intense narrative, differentiating it from other movies in the universe of Spider-Man.
The movie was supposed to be released on November 24th this year but recently, it has been announced that the date is pushed to an entire year later and will now be released on August 10th, 2024. Fans seem to be unimpressed as a Twitterati said, “Would’ve flopped anyway.”

It was likely going to bomb this and is probably going to do it next year now.

The audience has waved the red flag ahead of the movie. Given the fate of some of the recent superhero movies such as The Flash, it’s hard to tell if Kraven The Hunter getting pushed to next year is a going to have a positive impact on the commercial success of the movie or negative.
Some Long-Awaited Movies Are Going to Grace the Screens
Covid delayed many movies, which would now see the light of day. It will offer the audiences high-anticipated blockbusters. Even Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to embark on the Phase 5 era with the sequels like the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Marvels.
Horror lovers, too, can look forward to some amazing releases. Be it M Night or Blumhouse, Shyamalan, or more, many upcoming releases are coming forward. Now, while 2023 might not see any Star Wars movie, the fans of Lucasfilm remain entertained with the Indiana Jones and will be entertained with Dial of Destiny, marking Harrison Ford’s iconic final appearance as an adventurous archaeologist.
Some great movies such as Barbie by Great Gerwig and Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan already released in July are doing so well. As for the rest of the year, we expect Timothée Chalamet to enchant audiences as the popular character of Willy Wonka, while The Hunger Games franchise will make a theatrical comeback with The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes prequel.
