Actors Who Could Play Jean Grey In MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has gained a lot of momentum in its expansion. With multiple franchises working together, it can certainly be difficult to keep track of future releases. Multiple sets of eyes have been following to see what twists and turns will happen regarding Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and how well it will do once it’s released. But many are just interested in seeing what comes next for the Cinematic Universe. Now that the Disney/FOX merger is complete, many characters like Jean Grey from X-Men hopefully aren’t far down the line from making their big-screen debuts. That being said, these are the 5 actors who could play Jean Grey in the MCU –
Conor Leslie
Physician assistant, actor, author, and social media influencer – Conor Leslie wears many hats. And her latest role as Donna Troy on DC’s Titans is another feather in the cap for this busy woman. One of the founding members of the original Teen Titans team, her character acted as a sidekick to Wonder Woman and demonstrates similar detective skills to Batman’s but with a more sarcastic and biting manner than Bruce Wayne’s alter ego ever showed. Her dry sense of humor makes her the perfect choice to bring Jean Grey back to life again within the MCU.
Camilla Belle
Camilla Belle has a massive range, with movies like Push and Rip Girls showing that she clearly knows how to do action movies and Disney shows like Blonde Ambition. Her resume has been a bit dormant over the last few years as she’s focused on producing. However, some believe the almost-retrofuturistic aesthetic found in the X-Men universe is not the best choice for reintroducing those characters to movie audiences. This means there’s still plenty of time for Belle to learn more about approaching a comic book and movie franchise and Jean Grey might help catalyze that.

Kennedy McMann
McMann makes even the most unrealistic events seem as though they could very well be true. Even while so many things are impossible, viewers connect with her because of how grounded in reality she is. McMann’s ability to connect with her audience despite the supernatural surroundings is a skill that fans would truly appreciate. She can portray Jean Grey as vulnerable and relatable enough for the MCU fans.
Naomi Scott
Scott made history by being the first woman of color to play the role of Princess Jasmine in a live-action adaptation. She also made sure that the character was written more accurately than ever before. She’s been setting trends since she was a child actor on Disney’s hit show, Lizzie McGuire. While she might not look like the comic world counterpart, Scott could portray a prominent version of Jean Grey in the MCU.

Holland Roden
Famke Janssen previously expressed interest in returning as Jean Grey anytime, even in the X-Men spinoff series. FOX’s schedule is packed with the latest releases. This means that the character likely won’t be resurrected before the merger of Marvel Studios and FOX. Holland Roden is a remarkable talent stuck in an eternity of supporting roles on TV shows. She deserves more screen time than she currently receives, and would undoubtedly fill Famke Janssen’s shoes nicely as Jean Grey.
