If you’re a Marvel fan, you would remember the ending scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, which showed us the cocoon. Its presence in the Endgame-related magazine has ignited discussions if Adam Warlock may appear in the film.
Adam Warlock is intrinsic to the Infinity Stones story in the Marvel Universe. He has been the custodian of the Soul Stone and even led the heroes against Thanos during the Infinity Gauntlet storyline.
However, fans should take this with a grain of salt as Endgame is going to be the conclusion of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga and the magazine could be on the entire MCU journey until now.

Even Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo have discussed about Adam Warlock’s involvement in the Avengers films.
“Yeah [Adam Warlock]’s not showing up in our stories,” Joe Russo said during a fan Q&A. “Look, our job as we said a million times is to tell the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not to do direct adaptations of the comics because we’re comic book fans. I have no interest as a director in telling a story that’s already been told or in seeing one that’s already been told. If I know all the events story as they’re going to happen then what’s the point of going to the film? We want to keep surprising audiences and continue the story that started with Iron Man […] a decade ago.”
According to the film’s official synopsis, “The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.”
