After Admitting She Passed Out During S*x, Kelly Ripa Doesn’t Plan to Talk About Her S*x Life With Mark Consuelos on ‘Live’
The Hollywood couple, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who are often seen sharing intimate details of their bedroom lives without any hesitation, pledged not to bring it up ever again. Well technically, not in the morning talk show Live! at least. As Mark Consuelos is set to join his wife as a co-host on Live! soon, he reassured his fans and promised they will not be as candid as they were previously.
In a recent interview with Just for Variety, the actor and model opened up about what were the things people can expect from the duo as they embark on this new path together.
Mark Consuelos confirms the duo will avoid s*x talk in Live!
A few months back, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos came together on Ripa’s SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, along with their marriage counselor. They revealed some interesting tidbits that the fans were better off not knowing. Thus, in reference to that, he exclaimed all those topics will strictly be preserved for off-camera discussions. And so far as the on-camera discussion is concerned, the audience will get to see the two-decade-long relationship the pair share even better. He said on Just For Variety,
“That’s what I love about my wife… She’s an open book, and that’s why America has fallen in love with her for the past 23 years”
Consuelos further stated,
“I think the audience has a really good BS detector. But I definitely do not think we will be talking about that from 9 to 10 A.M. on Mondays through Fridays.”
He then jokingly claimed to make Live! his second home and invite all of his three kids for a family get-together. The Riverdale star said,
“Michael, our 25-year-old, would be hysterical. I’d love to see him with Kelly. Lola, she’s a dynamo, she would be amazing. Joaquin is a little bit more reserved, and I think he’d probably opt out.”
Although he was joking, and nothing is confirmed yet, fans can expect an episode in the future dedicated only to the Consuelos family.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Secret to a Happy Marriage
In an interview with The Cut, Ripa, and Consuelos talked about their marriage, which has lasted for 25 years. When asked about how they keep their relationship strong, Ripa said,
“S*x is one way we keep it all together.”
Consuelos agreed, saying, “It’s such a big part of our connection and bond.”
They talked about how their intimacy has changed over the years, and how they keep things interesting. Ripa shared,
“We’re lucky enough to have a very active s*x life—We’re both really into each other.”
She also once revealed a horrific incident to Haute Living, where she ended up in the emergency room, after passing out mid-love making because of ovarian cysts. The two have been beside each other through the thick and thin.
In Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the duo talked about their “ludicrous” rituals, when they are miles away from each other,
“We had s*xual rituals that were so ludicrous over FaceTime,—I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing. You get really close to yourself in situations where you’re separated from your husband for long periods of time.”
In conclusion, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are a couple who are not afraid to talk openly about their life. They have shared their experiences with the world time and again, and have shown that a strong relationship is built on trust, honesty, and intimacy.
