Suga is the second oldest member of the K-Pop boy band, BTS. While the singer is preparing for his upcoming album, he has now added another ambassador title to his name. On April 6th, the National Basketball Association(NBA) announced that the 30-year-old rapper has now been appointed as the newest ambassador.

NBA is one of the prominent sports leagues in Canada and the United States which is also a major interest of the rapper. For the rest of the 2022-2023 season and beyond, he will be engaging in various league initiatives like promotions, and attending NBA games which will be held in US and Asia.

In the press release, the K-Pop idol shared,

“Music and basketball have been shared passions of mine since my youth, and it’s a dream to be named an NBA Ambassador.

He further added,

“I’m excited to formalize my relationship with the NBA, and I can’t wait to share some exciting collaborations I have planned with the league over the coming months.”

The NBA will also be going to work with the rapper for his upcoming solo activities including his first solo tour as Agust D and the first solo album D-DAY. The fashion icon is also the brand ambassador of Valentino which was announced earlier this year. Not just him, his other band members are also busy engaging with different brands like the group’s maknae, who is announced as the first Korean male idol to be the face of Calvin Klein.

The 25-year-old singer, Jungkook is now the new global ambassador for one of the leading fashion brands, Calvin Klein. He is the newest addition to the star-studded ambassador list which features Michael B. Jordan, Kendall Jenner, Blackpink’s Jennie, FKA Twigs, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in their spring campaign.

The Calvin Klein Spring 2023 collection features the K-Pop star donning the brand’s iconic 90s denim. He also wore the brand’s signature white briefs and denim jacket which left his toned abs on display. He was also featured on a billboard commercial ad for this collection which was out on April 1st.

In a recent interview with GQ via email, he opened up that being on Billboard as a fashion icon made him more nervous than performing onstage in front of his millions of fans.

“I think I’m more nervous about seeing myself on a billboard.”

With his newest partnership with the American brand, six of the BTS members are now associated with some of the major fashion brands since the beginning of this year.
