Ezra Miller To Play The Role Of Salvador Dali

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Harron stated, Miller “arrived on set with a completely realized performance” for the movie. The actor was initially cast as the gallery assistant, due to their scheduling issues. However, Harron stated, Miller’s enigmatic acting skills eventually landed them the role of Dali.
Film critic John DeFore stated, “Much talk around the premiere will concern scandal-plagued costar Ezra Miller, who briefly plays the artist as a young man,” Throwing light upon Miller’s legal scandals, the critic didn’t fail to notice the brilliant casting. DeFore added, “Casting proves very apt, and the movie deserves to be judged — as enjoyable and enlightening.”
The director and the casting couch evidently did a great job by choosing Ezra Miller as the young surrealist painter. Despite being on media focus for quite a long time due to the speculations and personal issues, Miller proved their worth and skills with Dalíland.
