Jada Pinkett Smith has made some revelations regarding her relationship with Will Smith to whom she has been married since 1997. The Nutty Professor actress said that they have been living separately since 2016 even though they do not plan to get divorced legally. This separation was also why she found it hard to believe that her husband had actually slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about her alopecia-induced hair loss.

Despite Pinkett Smith’s comments, the Aladdin actor showed up at a promotional event in Baltimore for her upcoming memoir Worthy. He even gave a speech to honor his wife which left the fans surprised considering how the Red Table Talk co-host had revealed extremely personal details about their relationship.

A body language expert Judi James has told the Mirror that the Independence Day actor is enjoying the attention he is receiving. Explaining the entire situation, James said:

“Will is clearly appearing here to support his wife but there is a familiar look to his body language that suggests he is actually enjoying the attention these current revelations are giving him. Will often looks like a big kid who still adores showing off when there is a camera around and with his brows raised, his mouth wide open and the mic firmly in his hand here it looks like very little has changed.”

The expert even went on to say that Jada Pinkett Smith entertains her husband’s behavior by looking up at him like an affectionate mother who is proud of her child.

“As I stand here before you today, I am happier than I’ve ever been in my entire life … I have achieved every single thing I have ever wanted in my entire life. I just really wanted to come out and just be here and hold it down for you the way you have held it down for me.”
