Kelly Ripa’s Youngest Kid, Joaquin Consuelos is Moving Away from His Parents
The youngest child of Kelly Ripa and actor Mark Consuelos finally turned 20th on Friday with his parents are amazed about it. The pair shared several clips and pictures of their son to commemorate this important occasion. Meanwhile, his elder siblings, Michael, and Lola shared their warm regards with him.
Not just the parents, but Ripa’s TV show, The Live didn’t miss Joaquin Consuelos’s birthday and posted a throwback compilation of his TV appearance. The 20-year-old handsome hunk, however, has moved away from his parents’ luxurious home for the University of Michigan to focus on his passion for wrestling.
He is quite away from his family as the couple’s other kids are staying in NYC. While their son, Michael is an aspiring actor living on his own, their only daughter, Lola is in her final year of college and is staying with her parents after studying abroad in London.
The famous parents fully support their youngest kid’s decision even though he had a tough time in his childhood.
Kelly Ripa is Concerned About Her Youngest Son’s Well Being Due to His Medical History
The 20-year-old student had a tough childhood due to dyslexia and dysgraphia, however, it never stopped him to live his life on his own terms.
For the unversed, dyslexia is a learning disability that affects an individual in certain language skills, such as reading, pronouncing words, and even writing. On the other hand, Dysgraphia affects an individual’s ability to write with their hand.
In an episode on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the actress opened up about how her husband got emotional when they were looking for career options for the wrestling lover.
“Mark got very emotional and very choked up because he said, ‘You know I never thought he would be able to go to college because he was profoundly dyslexic and dysgraphic.’”
She felt proud of her son as he overcame his disabilities and rather became a strong person who is now enjoying his time as a student at the University of Michigan.
