She posted 2 images of herself in innovative outfits that fit the theme of The Garden of Time. From flowery detailing to a corset straight out of a fantasy work of art, she looked ready to rock the Met Gala this year. The images quickly made their way on other pages as well, leading fans to think she actually attended the event. Nonetheless, Perry’s post clearly geotagged the Metaverse, clearing all doubts regarding her presence at this year’s event.
Not just her fans, but even Perry’s mother thought for a second that her daughter went to the Met Gala 2024. She must have seen the images online and texted Perry to compliment her great style and outfit. The singer then replied with the truth and asked her mother to beware of AI that can fool anyone. Her mother made an innocent error but we can’t blame her because the images looked so real. This brings us to the ever-widening debate of AI and its pros and cons.
