Alert: New Time Armor of The Flash Resembles his Synder Suit
In Joshua Williamson and Howard Porter’s The Flash #752, Barry Allen builds himself a brand new suit that appears a great deal like the one seen within the DCEU. After the issue’s release, many fans wondered if his new villain had just killed Barry? The answer is, Let’s find out.
What Happened to Barry?
In The Flash #751, Barry Allen finally faces the new villain referred to as Paradox. Unfortunately, the battle turns into a real smack down when the villain proves his superiority. While he tries his best, Paradox defeats him with great ease, beating him to a pulp. And when he wakes up, he’s not in the center of the city. It doesn’t seem like he’s anywhere on Earth, because his mother greets him within the middle of a green field. Within Flash #752, we discover Barry right where we left him, in some afterlife, along with his mother. But everything isn’t as it is as it seems. It turns out Barry is trapped in place else entirely—and he must build himself a replacement suit if he has any hope of surviving.
Was it “Truth or A Trap”?
When Barry is first reunited together with his mother, he’s cautious, but he also sees the inherent beauty within the chance given to him. Wherever she is, it all seems so idealistic—the Flash is well known in his city, everyone he has ever saved is happy and safe, as is everyone he loves. But it all seems too perfect. Barry soon realizes that he’s trapped during a reality that was constructed by Paradox as some torturous trap. After giving the vibration-less world a vibration of its own, Barry is successful in destroying the illusion, and he figures out where he truly is.
What drove him to design his New Suit?
Paradox uses these pieces to make himself a cosmic tuning fork. Now, within the Flash #752, Barry uses that same leftover equipment to form a new protective layer to his suit—one which allows him to survive his prison dimension’s energies unaffected. Thus, Barry finally ends up building himself a replacement armor to wear over his regular suit. The result is something that appears a great deal, just like the costume Ezra Miller’s Scarlet Speedster wears within the DC Extended Universe film Justice League. The darker combination instantly recalls Miller’s big-screen dress, as does the homemade nature of the suit and, therefore, the patches of armor that make it up. Also, Barry even puts the costume along with some strings, something that also echoes back to the DCEU outfit.
