Amber Heard Breaks Silence While Jason Momoa Led Aquaman 2’s Miserable Box Office Run Continues
Amidst all the controversy surrounding her personal life, Amber Heard was recently seen in Jason Momoa-led Aquaman 2. Despite being subjected to a grand opening, the most anticipated DC project of 2023 is struggling to make a mark at the box office globally.
Recently, Amber Heard took to social media and expressed her gratitude to her fans for their endless love and support for Aquaman 2.
Amber Heard Breaks Her Silence On Aquaman 2
Amber Heard reprised the character of Mera in the James Wan-directed Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. The actor took to Instagram and acknowledged all the love and support she has been getting from her fans who loved her in Aquaman 2.
Her Instagram post mentioned a gratitude message for all her fans. The post read as
“After all this time, Aquaman 2 made its splash (sorry, it’s too easy). Thank you to all of my fans for the overwhelming support and love in Mera’s AQ return. Thank you so much.”
Amber Heard was first introduced to the character of Mera in Justice League before reprising the role in the first installment of Aquaman in 2018.
Jason Momoa Pranked Amber Heard When They Were Suspended 30-Feet In The Air
During an interview with Good Morning America in 2018, Amber Heard spoke about being pranked by her Aquaman co-star when they were 30 feet in the air. The actor said-
“I would have to drop it between takes, 30 feet in the air suspended on wires during these large setups, and somebody would rush in and throw my book up at me. I would feel so bad someone was going out of their way to do it so I was like, ‘no, it’s OK’ and they could tell I was going crazy — so wardrobe built me a book bag,”
Amber Heard further explained-
“I could sling it over me and then I would just like bring it around and pull out my book. He adopted this method of ripping out the pages of my book so I would pay attention to him,” she said. “It would drive me crazy because I’d have 30 pages left and it would be gone.”
Jason Momoa pranked Amber Heard during the filming of Aquaman 2 too. He came on the sets of the movie dressed up like Johnny Depp, Amber Heard’s ex-husband.
