The Aquaman star believes that the movie’s director Bruce Robinson is too good to be in Hollywood.

Since the defamation trail between Amber Heard and her ex-husband Johnny Depp began, the Aquaman actress has kept her life lowkey. However, when the actress got her breakthrough role with Depp in The Rum Diary, she acknowledged the extraordinary work crafted by the director Bruce Robinson in the movie.
As Amber Heard unreservedly voices her opinions no matter what the situation is, a few years back in an interview with Young Hollywood, the Drive Angry star discussed her role as Chenault Holdsworth in The Rum Diary and lauded the director for being an exceptional artist. The actress stated:
“He is a wonderful human being you know, and a brilliant artist who I respect tremendously. He’s got so much to offer, I think he’s just almost too good for the Industry.”
Heard conveyed appreciation for the director who cast her in his movie and emphasized that no one could understand the film’s visual beauty better than Bruce Robinson. The host also reported that the director calls Amber Heard multifarious, who is exceptionally talented and demonstrated a range of acting prowess.
Amber Heard Acknowledged Jhonny Depp’s Remarkable Character
The prevailing circumstances between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp markedly differed from the past as they were once lauded for being an exquisite coupe in the industry. The Aquaman actress’s first movie which remarkably gave her a name in Hollywood was with her now ex-husband Jhonny Depp.
In the same interview with Young Hollywood, Heard addressed the Pirates of the Caribbean star as a wonderful person and said:
“He’s a wonderful person and a consummate professional, but also a lovely person.”
The Justice League star added that Depp is such a charismatic personality that the actress herself found it challenging to remain unaffected by his irresistible allure and superstar presence. Amber Heard and Johnny Depp crossed paths on the sets of The Rum Diary when the actor was in a long-term relationship with French musician and actress Vanessa Paradis while Heard was dating photographer Tasya van Ree.
Following the breakup between Depp and Paradis, the Secret Window actor started dating Amber Heard, and the two married in a private ceremony in 2015, but terminated the marriage just 15 months later, for which the Paranoia actress cited irreconcilable differences in a divorce petition and filed a temporary restraining order against Depp amid allegations of domestic violence.
