The Aquaman actress then proceeded to write about Donald Trump’s zero-tolerance policy on immigration. “Checkpoints on your home streets…Is this the ‘great’ America we’re aiming for? Raids, fences and police-state like checkpoints don’t feel like the ‘land of the free’ our immigrant ancestors built.” Amber Heard tweeted. 

Further, the 36-year-old actress threw light upon the human rights crisis. “With this human rights crisis being so politicized, it is hard to make a simple statement w/out it being used to distract from the real issues.” However, people were quick to judge her tweets for racism and therefore slammed the actress.

Heard even faced backlash for deleting the tweet after receiving unending criticism. Calling her out for being a racist as well as a coward, people started throwing shade at the actress.
