Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were removed from GMA3
TV stars Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were removed from ABC’s GMA3 after their affair went viral on social media. ABC claimed that their affair was “distracting” for their viewers and gave them their separate severance packages before their exit. Robach reportedly got more money than Holmes in the package for her work with the network. She joined ABC in 2012 and appeared in 20/20 along with GMA3. Sources previously claimed that they are trying to work with NewsNation, but an insider close to the couple said “it’s definitely not true. That’s not going to happen.”
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are in no hurry to get married
Their relationship was backed up by their fans as people claimed that the two were there for each other amid their difficult marriages. A source has recently stated that they are in no hurry to get married,
“Their worlds have changed dramatically since this all came to light, and it’s a lot to get used to. Right now, they are enjoying their time together and adjusting to their new normal.”
They are reportedly taking things slow and have “no immediate plans to move in together or to get engaged.” Many reports have also claimed that Holmes had a lot of relationships at his workplace and Robach’s friends have been telling her that he is not a faithful man. A friend of Robach has also stated that “she’s painting a picture of how happy in love they are.”
They still have to end their existing marriages
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ existing marriages could be the reason behind the delay. Robach was married to Andrew Shue while Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig. Their divorces are in process as of now. An insider commented,
“You also have to keep in mind Amy and Andrew have not filed for divorce as of yet. They’ve been working on their full divorce out of court, and when they do file, it’s expected they’ll just need the judge to sign off on the agreement to make it final. Until then, they’re still husband and wife. TJ and Marilee have begun their divorce process in court, but until it’s finalized, they’re also still legally married.”
Maybe the couple has postponed their wedding as they want their previous marriages to end completely. Their next move in the TV industry is still unknown but for now, the severance packages got them covered.
