Even though it is quite unusual for veteran actors to have children,  actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro have embraced the idea and received positive responses for their individual announcements. Maybe except for actress Amy Schumer, who disagreed with those who congratulated the actors and their families on the new member.

Pacino and De Niro recently made headlines, but not for their outstanding work onscreen, but rather for a new development in their personal lives. While Pacino revealed he is expecting a child with partner Noor Alfallah, De Niro announced in May that he and partner Tiffany Chen welcomed a daughter in April.

Amy Schumer calls out Robert De Niro and Al Pacino

During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, actress Amy Schumer, who has a four-year-old son Gene with husband Chris Fischer, expressed her opinion on Robert De Niro and Al Pacino having kids late in their lives.

Schumer said, “Everyone is like, ‘Congrats!’ If it was Jane Fonda, people would call the police. It is weird. It doesn’t make me comfortable.” A lot of viewers of the show shared the same opinion as the actress as they commented, “Finally someone spoke up” with another one chiming in, “100%.”

Amy Schumer on being replaced in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie

During the interview, Cohen went on to ask Schumer about the real reason for her being replaced on Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The actress said, “I think we said it was ‘scheduling conflicts’ but it really was just creative differences. But you know, there’s a new team behind it and it looks like it’s very feminist and cool, so I will be seeing that movie.”

Schumer explained that she dropped out because, initially, the movie did not feel like it was feminist and cool compared to what it seems to be now, which is why she decided to exit the project. She also mentioned that she is very excited to see Robbie in it, which looks awesome. Schumer mentioned to The Hollywood Reporter last year that Sony “definitely didn’t want to do it the way I wanted to do it, the only way I was interested in doing it.”

Amy Schumer calls out celebrities for lying about the truth behind Ozempic

During her conversation with Andy Cohen, Amy Schumer also touched upon the subject of how she feels that no celebrity is being honest about taking Ozempic and projecting that they have lost weight by eating a healthy diet and working out. She said that celebrities also lie about using injectable drugs which she is not comfortable with.

Semaglutide’s most frequent side effects, according to the Medline, include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, and burping. More severe pain, fainting or dizziness, rashes, vision changes, swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, yellowing of the skin and eyes, or a rapid heartbeat are all uncommon symptoms that people may encounter.

Schumer noted, “Like, shut the f— up! You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you have got work done. Just stop.” Ozempic has been prescribed off-brand for weight loss and the actress suggested that the celebrities should be honest with their fans about their journey. Back in 2022, Schumer revealed that she decided to get liposuction after giving birth to her son Gene and added that, just like that, celebrities should just be real with people.

The actress mentioned that she has tried Ozempic herself but quit using the drug after experiencing negative side effects. “Like, a year ago, I tried it,” she said. “It’s like, you know, you try it.  And I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son.” She explained that she got so skinny, and he’d throw a ball at her and she couldn’t, which is when she decided to stop using it because it made her feel that it wasn’t meant for her.
