Andrew Garfield Reveals His Favourite Spider-Man Costume Till Date
As Spider-Man: No Way Home nears its release, Andrew Garfield has recently revealed his favourite Spider-Man suit. His costume from The Amazing Spider-Man series was put against Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire’s versions of the character. Garfield’s answer seemed to have split between Tom Holland’s latest suit and the suit from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man II.
Andrew Garfield Reveals His Favourite Spider-Man Suit
“Out of these three, I actually like Tom [Holland’s] the best,” he said. “But, I like The Amazing Spider-Man II’s the best, I think as well.”
Spider-Man fans have been long arguing over which suit is the best. Many fans love Tobey Maguire’s version from the trilogy by director Sam Raimi while many feel that the suit from The Amazing Spider-Man stands out due to its glowing eyes and webbing. Most Sony and Marvel brass agree that they’ve done a brilliant job with the eyes on Holland’s suits. They also found a way to arrange with the size of the lenses. This little change manages to inject Spider-Man with more emotions during the moments one cannot see Peter’s face.
While appearing on the Today Show, Andrew Garfield yet again clarified that he isn’t in No Way Home. The actor has been trying to tell this to fans for a long time now but no one seems to have been believing him.

“Listen, I’m not in the film. I love Spider-Man, I always have, I was so happy to have played the part. I’m so excited to see what they do with [Spider-Man: No Way Home],” Garfield pleaded. “Just like you are, to be honest. That’s not the diplomatic answer, I really, really mean it. I love Tom Holland, I love [director] Jon Watts, I love [producers] Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, and what they’ve done with those movies and that character. It’s an important character to me. So I’m just really excited to see what happens in the third one, as you guys are.”
A description for Spider-Man: No Way Home was also dropped by Marvel Studios recently.
