Animated Transformers Prequel To Be Helmed By Toy Story 4 Director
The current pandemic has led to the temporary shutdown of the entertainment industry. There are many filmmakers who are working out a way to utilize this time at their disposal. Luckily they have been able to work remotely on animation. Recently, work on a prequel to the Animated Transformers movie has begun. Hasbro’s Studio One and Josh Cooley the director of Toy Story 4 have come together to launch the prequel.

Both the parties have come together and will be seen leveraging on each other’s strengths. The prequel has already started with its production. Apart from this, Paramount is also gearing up for two other films.
Bundle Of Talent – Josh Cooley!
The writing for this prequel has been handed over to Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. They were the screenwriters for Ant-Man and its sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp. Josh Cooley would also be a part of the team. Cooley made his debut as a director last year with Pixar’s Toy Story 4. Apart from that, Josh was also a storyboard artist for movies like Cars, Cars 2, Up, Ratatouille, and The Incredibles.
Oscar-Winning Movie!
Cooley rose to popularity after Toy Story 4 reached the Oscars. This prequel will focus on the live-action Transformers movie and will highlight how the heroic Megatron evolved. It will also focus on the war between the Autobots and Decepticons.
The title for the upcoming prequel is yet to be decided.
