The star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jen Shah recently threw a dinner party at the costly Italian restaurant Valbella in New York City. She was celebrating her prison sentence for wire fraud and scamming. She earlier claimed that she is not the character that she portrays on her show. She was sentenced to six and a half years of prison term for defrauding thousands of people. She did this through a telemarketing scam that lasted for almost ten years. The 49-year-old was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein as a leader for frauding those who can afford to lose their money.
However, the mother-of-two was recently spotted dining at the establishment’s restaurant in New York without any guilt. Though it’s not clear if her husband, Sharrieff Shah Sr., or other cast members were also there.

The celebration took place at a lavish restaurant with two floors and a private wine room filled with 1500 different wine labels. Additionally, it has a private Scotch room with the best Bourbons and Scotches. However, Jen Shah’s meal at the Valbella restaurant stood out in comparison to the food she received in prison. A representative for Valbella refused to comment on the situation. But according to Page Six, the convicted fraudster was said to be accompanied by her security guard and two people to prevent anyone from taking pictures.
Indulging in a tasty meal at a costly northern Italian restaurant, Shah was surely living the high life after defrauding many people. Additionally, she might have enjoyed the breathtaking city views from a rooftop lounge. She was dressed smartly in beige, but she was missing her signature designer jewelry and bags from the Bravo TV show.
Real Housewives star Jen Shah given six and a half-year prison term!
Jen Shah is expected to turn herself in on February 17 after receiving a six-and-a-half-year prison term. The prosecution claimed that she cleverly preyed on vulnerable people, depleting their savings and loading up their credit cards. Though, she made a dramatic defense U-turn and pleaded guilty to wire fraud. She will now complete her sentence in a Texas facility. Her husband, their two sons, other relatives, and her therapist stood by her in court.
Her representator, Priya Chaudhry, begged for mercy on her behalf. She claimed that she would “never forgive herself” for what she had done. As she herself read a statement to the court, Shah sobbed and said that her reality TV persona was nothing more than an act. She promised to raise $6.5 million in restitution to compensate her victims. She even intended to do this from behind bars. She is also charged with operating a sales floor and personally targeting victims.
