The Avengers: Endgame premiere allowed the cast a chance to take in the whole electrifying atmosphere, which had stretched for 11 years. But there was one very important person who wasn’t amongst them to share in the joy.
Avengers: Endgame Cast Recollects Their Fondest Memories Of Stan Lee
The Avengers: Endgame premiere and the occasion also provided the cast with an opportunity to share their fondest memories of the Marvel Maestro, Stan Lee, who passed away last year. His contribution to both Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe was enormous. Not to mention, his tradition of making cameo appearances in the movies. This tradition has continued till Avengers: Endgame, but that will likely be his final cameo. Yet that certainly doesn’t mean that he will ever be forgotten.

Chris Hemsworth Remembers Stan Lee’s Enthusiasm
Thor actor Chris Hemsworth remembered Lee’s enthusiasm for the superheroes which he and the rest of the cast brings to life on the big screen. Hemsworth says:
“I just remember this sort of child-like wonder of that guy and the full sort of love for these stories and how infectious that energy was.”
For Benedict Wong, Stan Lee Was Instantly Memorable
Benedict Wong tells that meeting Lee was instantly memorable, even if he didn’t really think Lee knew who he was:
“I was on the press line for Doctor Strange and that was the first time I ever saw him and I broke the press line and just made a beeline over to him and was sort of fanboying over him. I just said- ‘Stan you don’t know me’ and he immediately interrupted and said- ‘You’re Wong!’ “
Karen Gillan Has Fond Memories Of Stan Lee

Nebula (Guardians of the Galaxy) actress Karen Gillan also shared her fond memories of Lee:
“One time he wanted to come and see me in my makeup. So he came to my trailer to meet me and said hello and he was just like marveling at the makeup job. He was really happy with it and I told him that I had to go and do a big fight sequence and he just turned right around and was like (raises fist) ‘knock em’ dead’, and I just thought that’s the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Paul Rudd Remembers Stan Lee Fondly
Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd remembers his encounter with Stan Lee well:
“When we were shooting Ant-Man he came in to shoot a cameo and we spent about 45 minutes just hanging out watching dailies, watching stuff being filmed, and he told me about how excited he was that Ant-Man was being made into a film because he was finally going to see the scale of it as he always imagined.”
