Robert Downey Jr. is supposedly the next huge celebrity who’s been a victim to having their social media hacked. The Avengers: Endgame star had informed earlier today about his Instagram account being compromised, and persuading his followers to stay away from his account till the hacking situation is handled.

Statement By Robert Downey Jr. On Instagram Hack

Until now, there has been no indication that Downey’s Instagram page was hacked, or is currently under a hack. There have been no misleading, ridiculous or offensive posts on his account that imply it was hacked. It is possible that Downey’s PR team may have removed it before sharp-eyed fans noticed. Check out the full statement released by the Iron Man actor on his Twitter below:

“I’m sorry to say my Instagram has been compromised… Please steer clear for the time being until it’s sorted. Thank you all. I love you 3000.”

Robert Downey Jr. may have retired from playing the beloved Iron Man in the MCU. However, it’s a debate on whether he’ll ever be independent of the “I love you 3000” line that had fans shedding tears after Avengers: Endgame. It’s possible that his warning may lead to fans digging further into the hack and find out what exactly the hackers carried out under Downey’s name.

Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton/Hawkeye alongside Downey’s character, also faced a hack on his personal app

This hack may find itself linked to another attack on Jeremy Renner’s app that happened earlier this week. The actors’ personal app was taken over by trolls who took advantage of the apps messaging service, resulting in Renner and his team shutting down the app. Another hacking incident that took place earlier this week with Aquaman’s Jason Momoa who had his Instagram hacked. It’s a possibility that an individual hacker or a group may be targeting renowned movie franchise stars, which leaves the rest of us wondering who might be next.
