Recently, the Anna Wintour singer ignited an online controversy with the pop star Beyonce. A fan went on to comment on the singer’s Instagram post suggesting that-

“Beyonce should’ve sampled you on Renaissance.” Azealia Banks wasn’t impressed with the suggestion and replied back with- “She knew better.”

In the follow-up replies the 32-year-old rapper mentioned-

“Because I would have sued her, Sony, Columbia, Parkwood, tidal AND blue ivy. I would have sued the fake Basquiat dreads right off [Jay-Z]’s head. I’m not the one.”

This is not the first time Azealia Banks spoke against the Crazy In Love singer as previously she had claimed that Beyonce had tried to erase her contributions to the house after her single Break My Soul was released. She had posted an audio that featured her ranting against Queen Bey. According to a small part of the audio, Azealia Banks was heard saying-

“So, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to encapsulate my music in time and say and say like, you know, it’s vintage or something as if my last three releases have not whooped your a**. Are you kidding? As if I’m not showing major versatility and all of that. You want me to not be Yemaya so f**king badly. You want it to be [Solange Knowles]. You want it to be Chloe Bailey, ‘[The Little Mermaid (2023)]’ movie, and you don’t include Azealia Banks. Like, oh my f**king God. You’re a joke.”

Why Did Azealia Banks Rant Against Nicki Minaj Through On Social Media?

Azealia Banks recently took a dig into the personal life of the Super Freaky Girl singer on social media. The Big Big Beat singer ranted on Instagram claiming that Nicki Minaj should improve her image by heading towards rehab and divorcing her husband Kenneth Petty. The Barbie World singer’s husband was convicted of a first-degree attempt to r*pe in 1995 and was imprisoned for more than five years.

From talking about Nicki Minaj’s appearance to her personal life, Azealia Banks began a list of scathing rants against the singer on her Instagram stories.

“We won’t care for the queen of rap s***ur trying to push until you tell us what’s really on your heart. Music listeners aren’t stupid.”

The outspoken attitude of Azealia Banks backfires on her and the singer is slammed for being so opinionated with respect to the other music stars.
