Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Had Their Kids Give Them Away in Secret Georgia Wedding
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a lavish wedding ceremony with friends and family last month on Affleck’s 87- acre Georgia estate, outside of Savannah. After tying the knot in an intimate surprise ceremony in A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in July, the couple decided to have an extravagant ceremony that was planned to the last detail. The couple’s kids stole the spotlight at the Georgia wedding as they played an important role in the ceremonies as the couple exchanged vows.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Children Walked them Down the Aisle
JLo, 53, and Affleck, 50, made their children a huge part of their wedding celebrations at the Savannah estate. Lopez’s twins Emme and Maximilian, 14 with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10 with ex-wife Jennifer Garner were the main attraction in the festivities as the children walked them down the aisle and gave them away.
Broken up previously in 2004, the couple saw this as a new chance for them once their love was rekindled. It also was a beautiful opportunity to involve their kids and form a new family for them. As the lowkey Vegas affair only involved Lopez’s daughter Emme and one of Affleck’s three children, this ceremony was bound to be more special.

Marc Cohn Performed “True Companion” at the Georgia Ceremony
The Latin pop star surprised Affleck with an appearance by Mark Cohn who performed his song ‘True Companion’ which, when the couple initially started dating more than 20 years ago, they decided was an “ideal wedding love song.”
“As I walked down the aisle, the first song he played wasn’t ‘True Companion’ however. It was his ‘The Things We’ve Handed Down’ — a song about the wonderful mystery of children — something we could only guess at back then, but it was the perfect choice as our five children preceded me on the walk.” wrote JLo on her blog ‘On The JLo’.
‘Bennifer’s’ White-Themed Wedding
A few days before the wedding, the couple and their families were spotted shopping in downtown Savannah. Then followed the wedding which had a flowing white theme throughout. The guests were spotted wearing white outfits. The bride and groom, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were both dressed in custom Ralph Lauren.

Wedding Not as Fairytale-esque as it Seemed?
The couple was lately involved in multiple controversies as there were a series of unfortunate events leading to the wedding. Lopez mentioned that quite a few people caught a stomach bug during the days leading to the nuptials.
