Free Guy (7.2)
Ryan Reynolds came pretty strong this year with two successful outings, i.e., Free Guy and Red Notice. Speaking of the former, the movie was followed an open-world video game where Ryan was a character. The movie once again proved that Reynolds is just the guy for a comedy-action flick and the movie, according to IMDb is sitting at a cool 7.2. It’s worth a watch with an unexpected cameo.
The Suicide Squad (7.3)
Director James Gunn tried his hands on a DC project this year with The Suicide Squad. While fans had their issue with the movie and Gunn’s over the top direction style, one thing they couldn’t explain was the action. Harley Quinn particularly stood out with her action sequences making the movie fairly interesting.
No Time To Die (7.4)
No Time To Die was a highly anticipated movie because it was Daniel Craig’s last movie as James Bon. True, the execution could have been better but once again, it’s a James Bond movie and the action is, as usual, something to look out for. It left most of the fans satisfied, but some of course were unsatisfied with the overall movie.
Nobody (7.4)
It’s a big deal when you have the same numbers as No Time To Die. Bob Odenkirk certainly delivered with Nobody and the action was above average for sure. Some people definitely called it a John Wick rip off but that wasn’t the case.
The Last Duel (7.5)
Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel is one of the most underrated movies of 2021. Speaking of the action, it is totally era-appropriate as the movie is set in the medieval era. The action is blended nicely with a story that is thought-provoking.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (7.5)
Marvel decided to introduce another superhero and that is Shang-Chi. The movie has high-end action and is seen a lot in the movie because of the storyline. Simu Liu’s skills were certainly seen on screen and the movie received its good share of positive reviews.
The Mitchells Vs. The Machines (7.7)
Another movie that is highly underrated. It follows a family who goes on a cross-country trip when an AI program takes over the world. The animation style is wild and will make you crave more. If you haven’t watched this movie, you should. The animation and the character definition is class apart.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League (8.1)
Zack Snyder finally gave his best work with Zack Snyder’s Justice League. All the necessary changes that were needed were made and the series-type movie is something that should be on your watchlist.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (8.9)
Here comes the winner. Marvel and Sony did not disappoint their fans and shook the world with No Way Home. The action was something that the cinema didn’t know it needed until it got it.
