Beyoncé has made enough headlines since her world tour started including her celebrity friends joining her concert and now as her Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé is finally out, the Crazy In Love singer has received criticism from users on a popular gossip page on Instagram The Shade Room where they accused the artists for bleaching her skin to look white.

Following the criticism that the Say My Name hitmaker received, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother posted on her Instagram account defending he daughter and wrote:

“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white. She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? .. How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy…”

Knowles’ post has gone viral since she posted it as an answer to her daughter’s haters claiming that people didn’t understand the silver theme that her daughter slayed at the London premiere of her concert film alongside her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
