Black Adam Trailer Footage Revealed In DC FanDome
Fans have been longing to get a glimpse of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Black Adam and now finally after the long wait, we have got a brief teasing at Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema’s Black Adam which came in the new trailer for DC FanDome.
At the exact 30- the second mark, we can sport Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam in a dark setting that’s occasionally lightning
Black Adam has had a forever ride to the final destination to production. As early as 2007, Johnson’s name was tied up to the titular character but the solo film wasn’t confirmed until a few years back.
After Black Adam got the greenlight, Dwayne Johnson said, ” Yes, of course, in the mythology Black Adam is a villain, or he can be an antihero. Or to some, he’s a hero — to some who have a black heart, like me. Growing up the DC villains were always my ‘heroes.’ As evil as they were, they were always my favorite. Still are. Luthor, Joker, Brainiac, Sinestro, etc., and of course the ruthless one, Black Adam. Cooking up some cool and fun plans with DC to introduce Black Adam into the Universe.”
Black Adam to hit the theatres on 29th July, 2022
Jaume Collet- Serra is set to direct Black Adam but this isn’t the first time he is working with Dwyane Johnson. The duo paired up to shoot Jungle Cruise much before they started shooting for Black Adam.
As expected, DC is keeping Black Adam’s plot under wraps and the film is all set to introduce the Justice Society of America including other characters such as Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Cyclone, and Doctor Fame.
The first official look at Black Adam was revealed in last year’s DC FanDome. Dwayne Johnson is full of praises for his character at FanDome August 2020 saying, “Black Adam is one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. However, heroes must show restraint against their enemies. Black Adam does not practice restraint, which makes him very likable to me.”
Along with The Rock, Black Adam casts includes names as Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan among others.
Black Adam is all set to hit theaters on 29th July 2022.
