It’s important to note that merchandise leaks are not always accurate to the final product or what appears in a given film. Additionally, the original source for these images was not made immediately clear.
Black Panther’s sequel, Wakanda Forever is set to feature the return of various important actors from the original movie, including Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri.
Who is Ironheart In Marvel Comics?
Dominique Thorne is going to make her debut as Ironheart in the film, though we do not know how she’ll tie into events in MCU. The film has now long been rumored to debut Namor the Sub-Mariner to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A merch leak also suggested actor Tenoch Huerta would play the character. In the comics, Wakanda and Atlantis went to war after what took place in Avengers Vs. X-Men. However, we don’t know at this time if the film is going to explore that conflict or an entirely different thing.
Ironheart was created by Mike Deodato, Brian Michael Bend, Kevin Libranda, and Eve Ewing, Williams made a cameo in Invincible Iron Man #7 (2016). The genius built her own variant of Stark’s Iron Man armor and has since been a key member of the Champions. After her debut appearance in Wakanda Forever, Williams will make a comeback in Ironheart, a series on Disney+ exploring her character.
Plot details for that series are very scarce right now. Actor Dominique Thorne seemed very excited about her role, as the production has stated,
“We’re shooting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in Black Panther 2 first,” Feige said in an interview surrounding the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. “She started shooting, I think, this week before her Ironheart series.
