Britney Spears Takes Away Controversial Florida Condo Her Sister-Turned-Enemy Jamie Lynn Claimed To Own, About to Sell It for Gargantuan $1.8M Profit
The controversial Florida condo that Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn Spears once claimed to “own” in a tweet is listed for $2 million. Britney Spears, who is the owner of the house, is trying to sell the house and she will walk away with a good profit as she purchased the residence for $920,000 in 2001. The house became the center of attention in 2015 after the singer’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears claimed in a tweet that her favorite vacation spot was the condo in Destin, located on the Florida Panhandle. Jamie Lynn Spears was then called out for lying about owning the property.
Britney Spears has listed the property for $2 million
Britney Spears‘ lavish condo has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms and is listed under Bridgemore Timber LLC. The house features an expansive balcony, 10-foot ceilings, marble floors, a mirrored wall with a fireplace, and walls of glass that open out magnificent Gulf views. The pop star purchased the residence in 2002 for $920,000 and listed it for $2 million now. She will walk away with a profit of roughly $1.1 million, however, if inflation is taken into account, the actual profit adds up to $1.8 million.
Jamie Lynn Spears once claimed to “own” the condo
Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, claimed to own the property in 2015 in a tweet. In a Q&A session on her Twitter, a fan asked her, “Where’s your favorite vacation spot?” to which the actress replied, “We have a condo in Destin, Florida and it’s the best getaway!”
She was then called out by the singer’s fans for lying about owning the condo. She later addressed it on her Instagram, “I don’t own a condo, and I can assure you that no one has ever bought me a place at the beach, because I prefer my beach vacations at the Ritz anyway. Simple FACTS. Y’all need to stop reachin’.”
Jamie Lynn Spears’ claimed that her sister did not help her
During the “Free Britney” movement in 2021, Jamie Lynn Spears claimed that she had received no financial support from Britney Spears but that tweet from 2015 contradicts her statement. The singer recently bought a house in Calabasas for $11.8 million after she got married to Sam Asghari.
