Buffy Actor Sarah Michelle Gellar Joins Teen Wolf Spinoff Wolf Pack as Badass Arson Investigator Kristin Ramsey
Sarah Michelle Gellar has come a long long way from Sunnydale. The Emmy Award winner, 45, will be now a part of a new supernatural TV universe as she was officially announced to appear in Teen Wolf, the forthcoming spinoff of while making a surprise appearance on the panel of the parent show, Thursday at SDCC, as per a report by Entertainment Weekly.
Playing investigator Kristin Ramsey sets a massive hunt to find the teenage arsonist who began a huge wildfire in the city of Los Angeles, awakening a predator that’s supernatural and terrorizes the city.

Moreover, Gellar will also be serving as an executive producer on the series, and Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis will be returning to writing an EP. They were joined Thursday by OG stars Tyler Hoechlin and Tyler Posey.
“Everyone knows that Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a massive influence on Teen Wolf,” Davis, 47, stated during the panel. “So I always thought it would be amazing if we could bring Sarah Michelle Gellar back to a horror show.”
Gellar added: “Everything these guys have been saying about family and the atmosphere of Jeff’s shows is really true. I hope you guys come join us!”

Based on the book series by Edo van Belkom, Wolf Pack “follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Wounded in the chaos of its attack, the teens are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two others who were adopted 16 years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them — the bite and blood of a werewolf.
The series stars Armani Jackson, Chloe Rose Robertson, Bella Shepard, and Tyler Lawrence Gray, and the shooting kicked off in Atlanta last month. A premiere date is not revealed yet.
Where Was Gellar All This While?
Gellar started her TV career with soap operas like All My Children and Swans Crossing before she got her breakout role as the teen warrior in the 1997 WB adaptation of the film Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1992.
Her last TV role came in The Crazy Ones (2013), also starring Hamish Linklater, James Wolk, and the late Robin Williams.
The panel on Thursday also gave fans the first teaser of The Movie, featuring Allison Argent’s return.
