Back in 2020, she straight-up claimed she’d only be in the third episode of Season 2. She did say she hoped for more, telling fans, “I’m crossing my fingers they give you more.” But guess what? She totally lied, because Reeves came back in the big finale, on the eighth episode of the season.
And get this, when someone asked her about Season 3 and Reeves’ role, she told Bleacher Report that she wouldn’t be showing up. Well, surprise, surprise! Reeves ended up making appearances in Episodes 6, 7, and 8 of Season 3 of The Mandalorian. So technically, Shasha lied twice about her involvement in The Mandalorian.
Did Shasha Banks Intentionally Lie About Her Star Wars Involvement?
It seems like Sasha Banks has been channeling her inner Andrew Garfield, you know, trying to keep her role under wraps and avoiding spoilers. Other members of The Mandalorian cast have spilled the beans about last-minute changes in Season 2 and the crazy schedule with shoots happening all over the place on the same day.
So, maybe Banks genuinely thought she was giving honest answers at the time. But let’s be real, according to her, Koska Reeves was only supposed to be in one episode, not five.
