Can We Have A Potential Tom Holland and Zendaya Cameo In ‘Spider-Verse’?
Based on the commercial and also, the critical response to Tom Holland’s recent adventure Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans clearly can’t get enough of seeing Zendaya and Tom Holland lend their talents to a multiversal blockbuster, and they just happen to be another two of them on their way.
This year, we have Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and also, its sequel which is coming to the theaters between now and somewhere at the end of 2023, certainly raising the bar that was set quite high by the acclaimed and Academy Award-winning first installment Into the Spider-Verse. Now, all of the stops really need to be pulled out, but can we can also expect the live-action Peter Parker and MJ to swing by again?
The previous time producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord were asked about the same, to which their response was about as hilariously sarcastic as it could get. While appearing in a recent interview with Collider, the two were quizzed over the potential Zendaya and Tom Holland cameos again, where they went on to dance around the line of inquiry entirely.
Miller went on to joke that he “just got a call right now, but I put it straight forward to voicemail, so it could be… It’s possibly Zendaya. She’s always calling me”. Continuing to have all the fun, Lord said that “it could be at Tom Holland, or it could be a local political campaign asking for money”, giving nothing away at all.
Now, this doesn’t mean we should be expecting Zendaya and Holland to show up, but their entire participation in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse wasn’t greeted with a big fat “no”, either. So, well, you never know?
