With her recent appearance at the Oscars this year, many are now relieved as she is doing great. The actress flaunted a red Elie Saab gown and was presenting an award with her fellow presenter, Florence Pugh. She even decided to stay sober without spoiling her good moments with the Don’t Worry Darling star.
Cara Delevingne Had Great Fun With Fellow Oscars Presenter Florence Pugh
The 29-year-old actress, Cara Delevingne has been suffering from various problems in her life. However, now she is living quite a healthy lifestyle which was evident when she made an appearance at the Oscars. She was glowing and sober on Sunday as per insiders who witnessed her with actress Florence Pugh at the Dolby Theatre bar.
The pair were spotted heading to the bar and dancing in their heavy outfit to enjoy the night. Even though the bar could have been a staggering point for the former, she chose to stay sober without ruining the moment with Pugh.
As per PageSix, a bartender gave a cocktail to the Only Murders in the Building star which she politely passed on and screamed to the crowd, “Who wants a vodka soda?! Vodka soda?!” She was even joined by her co-presenter, Pugh in the merry moment with the former drinking club soda and cranberry juice as per reports.
The ladies had a great time in the evening and it looks like Delevingne has finally moved on from her past.
Cara Delevingne is Sober After Seeking Treatment
The actress has been candid about her life struggles, especially dealing with her substance abuse and suicidal thoughts. However, she chose to take on a different path for herself which is finally showing great results.
In a recent Vogue interview, she shared that her addiction was getting way too serious, which is why she decided to come out of it.
“All I knew is if I was continuing to go down the road I was, I would either end up dead or, like, doing something really, really stupid.”
Though she thought treatment to be a “scary” deal for her, she eventually accepted it.
“Treatment was the best thing. It was always something I was very scared of, but I think I needed that community. I needed that support group.”
She further stated about enjoying her sobriety as she can have a great time and can connect with people more than she used to do in the past. Having said that, she clarified being in a “healing” position rather than a recovery as she is constantly working on it. She celebrated her Christmas and New Year’s Eve being sober for the first time this past December with her girlfriend, singer Leah ‘Minke’ Mason.
